Our Mission:

The aim of the Neighborhood League Shops Foundations, Inc. is to maintain consignment/donation stores that are well integrated into the Wayne retail community, which stores raise monies designated for donation to local nonprofit organizations. The specific organizations selected to receive funds must be determined to be financially sound, well managed, of good repute, and make a worthy contribution to the local community in either health care or special human needs. Recipient organizations must be willing to provide support to the corporation in the form of publicity, volunteer assistance, or donation of goods.

Recipients of Our 2015 Grants:

Wayne Senior Center
Commited to promoting healthy aging for the older adults in our community and providing resources to address their needs, as they may arise.

Women's Resource Center
WRC supports women, strengthens families, and builds communities through information and referral, counseling, and legal and educational services.

The Timothy School
Timothy School develops an understanding of autism that recognizes the strengths and uniqueness of our children and the specialized methods needed to expand their educational opportunities.

Peter's Place
Peter's Place provides safe and supportive environments for grieving children and families. They also act as a community resource to foster understanding of the effects of grief and death.

Radnor ABC Program (A Better Chance)
The mission of A Better Chance is to identify and recruit academically talented and motivated students of color from disadvantaged school districts and place them in outstanding public, independent and private high schools across the United States. Radnor A Better Chance students live in a group home setting, attend Radnor High School and are in an advanced college prep curriculum.

The Clinic
The Clinic provides quality health care to the uninsured in an atmosphere which fosters dignity and respect for their patients.

Foundation For Learning in Tredyffrin/Easttown (FLITE)
FLITE funds programs to ensure that all students in the T/E schools, especially those that face barriers to their educational success, have the academic tools, opportunities and support they need to succeed in school.

Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Main Line (IHN-Main Line)
IHN-Main Line provides a caring and positive environment for homeless families and their children while they design and implement a plan to break the cycle of homelessness in their lives. Using the energy of over 2,500 community volunteers we are dedicated to families who seek to be accountable, resilient and strive for a better tomorrow for their families.

Mother's Home
Mother's Home provides a safe haven for vulnerable, homeless, and in crisis pregnant women who choose life as a sacred gift and encourage mothers to celebrate the joy of new life and help them prepare for their futures and the futures of their children.
